Recently I announced that I am running for re-election as Alder in Madison's Ninth District. I have worked on issues important to you over the past four years, and I hope to continue to represent you for a third term as your voice on the Common Council. Even though I am running un-opposed, I am again asking for your support and vote. I live with my wife on Red Maple Trail (in Tamarack Trails). I received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. I work as a landscape architect and project manager in the Madison area. I have education and experience in urban planning, park planning and design, site development, and neighborhood planning. I am currently a member of the Madison Park Commissioner, Public Safety Review Board, and the Commission on People with Disabilities. I was a long-time member, and former president, of the Madison Park commission. I have experience working with the Police and Fire Departments and their officers on issues related to public safety in our community. I work closely with officers on issues related to public safety in our community. I work closely with neighborhood associations and local businesses on a variety of important local issues. I consider myself politically moderate and independent.
