Minutes for Wexford Village Board of Directors
Tuesday March 2, 2004
Present: Darren Fortney, Don Michalski, Jim Rather, Roger Kong, Trish Watts,
Ken Schmidt
Not Present: Darrell Fleming, Paul Stang, Todd Wiegand, Al Martin, Marc Herstand
- The minutes of the February 3rd, 2004 meeting were accepted. Motioned by
Trish , second by Jim
- The financial report was given. Noteworthy is that 45 individual homeowners
and 3 condo units have not paid their 2004 dues as March 1st, 2004
- After a discussion with Greg Siebold, it was determined that Mr. Siebold
would write a final draft, representing the Board, identifying the three critical
issues for the settlement of the covenant concerns on the Bishops Hill residence
- Due to consistent conflicts with meetings at the Alicia Ashmann Library,
the April meeting would be held in the TDS Building on Junction Road.. Future
meetings may be held at that facility also.
- A proposal is being sought for a plan for the plantings and maintenance
of the Wexford Village sign areas on Gammon Road and Sawmill, Wexford Park,
and Westfield Road and Old Sauk Road.
- After discussion with Greg Siebold, it was discovered that there is legal
document signed by Voss Development in 1979, stating that Wexford Village
Homeowners Association is responsible for the maintenance of the sidewalks
behind Morningdale Circle, i.e. along Old Sauk Road and Gammon Road. Don Michalski
will write a letter to each affected homeowner indicating this document.

- City Relations There was a brief discussion of the potential of utilizing
Wexford Park as a water pumping area from Strickers and Tiedemans Pond as
a method of restoring ground water due to water intake from Lake Mendota for
the operation of the new cogeneration plant on the UW campus. Contracting
Inspection of greenway lights will be made after frost is out of the ground

- Social Easter Egg is being organized- Event will occur at 9:30 AM on April
10th at Wexford Park Garage Sale event will occur on May 7th and 8th
