Minutes- Wexford Village Board of Directors

Members present:    Darrell Fleming, Darren Fortney, Don Michalski, Jim Rather, Paul Stang, and Trish Watts

Members absent:    Marc Herstand, Roger Kong, Al Martin, Ken Schmidt, and Todd Wiegand 

 

1.      Minutes of December 2nd were accepted and approved

 

2.      The financial report was presented with the budget for 2004 being accepted, There were questions about the total bill for mowing of the greenways for 2003. Paul Stang will clarify for next month

 

3.      Roles for Board  members for 2004 were reviewed with the following assignments

      Architectural Review                         Al Martin and Todd Wiegand

      City Relations and Parks                  Al Martin

      Directory, Website, Welcoming         Trish Watts

      Contracting                                      Don Michalski

4.      A proposal to consider having the board meeting dates changed to Mondays was declined unless there is a serious conflict with the Tuesday date

 

5.      It was decided that the issue of clearing the sidewalks along Old Sauk Road and Gammon Road is the responsibility of the six homeowners on Morningdale Circle. This issue will be referred for a legal opinion by Greg Siebold. Don will write a letter to Greg Siebold , stating the issue and asking for a strategy for requesting that these homeowners be financially responsible for the sidewalk clearance

 

6.      The Board will take a more stern position on delinquent payment of Wexford  Village dues  Non payment by February 8th will necessitate a stronger action than a simple second notice

        Contracting                        Don will pursue the status of present contract with Barnes for grass cutting for the summer  2004 and check out other possible contractors (David Frank)

Covenants                         A letter will be directed to Greg Siebold to update the Board on the status of the covenant issue with Bishops Hill Circle

        Social                               Jerry Watts will coordinate the Easter Egg Hunt event- Still looking for leader volunteers for the garage sale and July 4th

        Wexford Watch                  Deadline for submission of articles for the Watch is January 24th
