Present:                Jason Jensen, Paul Stang, Trish Watts, Don Michalski, Darren Fortney, Alan Martin, Ken Schmidt

Not Present:         Jim Rather, Roger Kong

 

  1. Minutes - Motion made by Trish, 2nd by Darren. Board approved.

 

  1. Financial Report (Paul)

 

Ψ       Committee Reports

·         Architectural Review (Al) – nothing to report

·         Block Captains (Jim) – Jim reported by email that the Watches were delivered to the block captains for distribution

·         City Relations (Al) – Al delivered City of Madison Park Department proposal enhancement for Wexford Park which consisted of many perennial plantings and trees. Although a City project, because of budget issues, they are looking for any contributions towards cost, which is estimated at 12K. Motion by Jason, 2nd by Al to approve $2000 donation to City for Wexford Park improvements and up to $2500 if 2 Portable Potties are provided for the summer (as in years past). Board approved.

·         Contracting (Don) – snowplowing – looks like Barnes might have missed part of sidewalk at Gammon & Old Sauk

·         Covenants (Darren) –

-          Updates on various violations

·         Wexford Watch (Roger) – no report

·         Directory & website (Trish) – Trish will provide summary for Board next month regarding comments from dues letters

·         Welcoming (Trish) – nothing to report

·         Traffic Control (Don) – City will be organizing meeting concerning traffic calming at Wexford Park to understand our wants and needs – more information to be forthcoming

·         Social – no report

 

  1. Old Business

·         Light Project – Al motioned; Jason 2nd motion for adopting new reinforced “Coach” style lamp fixtures and 12 foot poles for lighting standard for walking paths. In areas that cannot accept 12 foot poles, a 10-foot pole will be used with a smaller “Coach-type” light. Board approved

 

  1. New Business

·         Scott Favor is replacement for Denise Marx for West Side patrols

·         Website – It came to the attention of the Board that Trisha was paying the monthly $19.95 hosting fee for the Wexford website for over the last 18 months, and also bought the domain name. Paul motioned and Al 2nd a request to pay Trisha $400 to cover prior costs and to pay for the hosting fee going forward. The Board also requested that Trisha transfer ownership of the Wexford domain name to the Association.
