Present:                Darren Fortney, Jason Jensen, Roger Kong Alan Martin, Don Michalski, Dick Pelkey, Jim Puhl, Ken Schmidt, Paul Stang, Trish Watts

·         Motion made by Darren, 2nd by Paul. Board approved.

 

  1. Financial Report 

 

  1. Announcements

·         Kyle Flakne, Boy Scout Troop 420 attended the meeting and informed Board that he is looking for an Eagle Scout project. The Board suggested barking the paths in the woods or some brush clearing.

 

  1. Old Business

·         Neighborhood Watch: Trish reported that a meeting will be held 6/5 with Lt. Peterson of MPD covering details. A questionnaire will be circulated among those in attendance to evaluate possible neighborhood involvement.

·         Ken reported 3 circles requested and received mulch.  Flowers in Wexford Park have been planted…same for the area on Sawmill/Gammon by Le Petite Nursery children.  Area around Wexford sign at N. Westfield/Old Sauk will be maintained by Wexford

·         Alliant Energy would charge $150 per hour for maintaining our path lights…we currently pay PPK less than $50 for labor.  Proposal by PPK to replace 5 poles and components for $1950…motion to accept by Bill, 2nd by Oaul.  Further discussion concerning style of the fixtures…Don will evaluate options.

·         Covenants (Darren)

Ø       Car windows were reported smashed in along Longmeadow Road last month, information was passed along to our City Police contact

Ø       Residence on Butterfield out walls around kids fort and used as shed – they will be taking down by end of September

·         Social (Jim) – nothing to report

·         Parks – nothing to report

·         City (Al) – City accidently cut new planting around retention ponds

·         Wexford Watch (Roger) – next Watch will be sent out beginning of October

·         Directory & website (Trish)

Ø       Directory out on time and under budget

·         Neighborhood Watch (Trish)

Ø       Decided on bi-annual meetings

·         Block Captains (Dick) – nothing to report

·         Contracting (Don)

Ø       Weed & feed will be applied end of September/early October per contract

Ø       Lights damaged by vandelism have been repaired for a cost of $3000

Ø       Board considered request to install 2 new lights, tabled until next meeting

Ø       Lot 400 prairie grass has come up well with not much thistle. Project will be completed upon planting of 3 trees and installing a couple of benches

·         Architectural Review (Al & Marty) – nothing to report

 

  1. New Business

·         Dick submitted to Board the draft of the Wexford outdoor lighting infrastructure and repair policy. Board is to review and send any corrections to Dick by end of month.

·         Trisha will make an access database to store light pole information and track maintenance records.
